Hello there, another week full of work but I managed to work on multiple things, first of all the second sketch from the previous post has been updated with some fix:

probably it will remain this base, do you like it more?

Secondary for an imminent project with my self publishing reality we are working on an illustrated book and for it I need to learn to draw owls and other birds, fortunately last year I take some private lessons with a great italian plaeoartist:

PaleoPastori - Professional, Traditional Artist | DeviantArt ; unfortunately due to a giga amount of work I wasn't able to continue but those lessons was SO helpful, I'll share with you the result as for now of what I've learned sketching tons of owls this week, these are the highlights:

The result is a mix of learning how feathers move and works on the face and the "volume" of them with some toony deliberate interpretations.

Hello there! Unfortunately this weekend I wasn't able to work on other pieces due to some problems on the "outside", but I'm working on several illustrations to post, here they are:

This one will be the next "big" illustration I'm working, sad mood as usual xD

If I'll be in the mood maybe it will come with two versions: one with clothes and one without :P

Well hello!

So, today marks the day where I try something fun on the internet maybe for the first time XD

Sorry for the absence, I was involved in two big convention in the past few weeks, Lucca comics and games in Italy and Thought Bubble in UK.

Despite a very impredictable weather all of them has been great!

Just to say that there are some interesting stuff for the future to come.

Slowly I'll be back here too, with old and new artworks to share, so, stay tuned! >:D

Got a little question for You:

I saw that here on NG on the "art portal" there are the threads made by the users, I saw some of them having a thread where they upload all the work they are working on. My question is if is something useful to have here or if is something only for surplus, I still don't get it entirely I think.... what are your thoughts about?

Just a quick update while I'm in a "coffee break" moment;

I'm thinking about what other works upload next. In the last couple of years I've collected some illustrations that I never published anywhere because.... I really don't know why :')

these past few years was like troubled from a work-side perspective, so.... here we are.

I think I've got like 3/4 illustrations done and ready and one that I'm currently working. They're are quite different from the illustration I posted a few days ago, I was trying new techniques of digital art. for the current I was thinking to going back in a similar style like the "darkest bat" draw.

Maybe I'll upload them once per week, I dunno, let me know what do you think about this plan.

When I'll finish the last work (It's a pretty ambitious one, you'll see ;) I was thinking to going back to the Bat, maybe doing some studies or an illustration with him.

BTW, as my profile speaks, I'm a comic artist, so expect some uploads of webcomic strips just for fun or to announce pretty cool things that will come in the next few months :DDD
